As General Manager, you are accountable for the sustained success, growth and overall management of the restaurant as measured by the total revenue and net income in relation to budgeted goals and objectives. You will be accountable for all day to day operational aspects of front of house and work in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager and Brewer. You will be developing your team in order exceed each guest`s expectations by maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage quality and superior service.

Major Responsibilities

· Prepare annual budgets and business plans;

· Achieve maximum sales and profits while maintaining good operations, standards and procedures;

· Analyze monthly income statements and action plan on any areas of opportunity;

· Increase sales and maximize profit by ensuring all P&L items are controlled and company objectives achieved;

· Recruit and maintain an hourly staff to ensure efficient operations of the restaurant;

· Ensure proper training of new team members ;

· Manage team member performance with clear feedback, recognition, reviews, coaching/training and discipline;

· Supervise and directs managers in daily activities;

· Maintain proper inventories, ensure compliance with proper cash handling procedures and complete all required accounting and administrative reports as required;

· Accountable for labour cost; labour forecasting, scheduling, managing costs within agreed upon targets;

· Works with the Kitchen Manager to ensure that every menu item is prepared to company standards and all food items are handled in accordance with the provincial health standards (receiving, storing, food handling, preparation and portioning);

· Maintains constant communication with the kitchen team to ensure proper service standards;

· Manages the guest experience by ensuring staffing levels match forecasted sales, initiating feedback from the guest and resolving any guest concerns ;

· Monitors guest feedback forums and responds quickly to guest concerns;

· Conducts regular manager and team member meetings;

· Any other responsibility related to your restaurant operations;
